Services We Provide
Individual Learning Sessions
Staff at Tutoring Time take pride in developing a relationship with you and your child. We want you to feel safe and relaxed in our learning environment. Tutoring Time offers weekly or fortnightly learning sessions for Preschool, Primary and Secondary students.
Once enrolled, we start with an initial discussion to find out more about your child’s interests, feelings and concerns and then discuss how we can work together to create the best possible outcome.
After this, we undertake an assessment (if required) of their current knowledge to identify your child’s strengths and areas that have a need for additional support.
Lastly, we use this information to develop tailored learning sessions to introduce new learning and address identified opportunities for growth.
Each learning session is 55 minutes. One on one learning occurs for 50 minutes and approximately 5 minutes is allocated at the end of the session for parent/care giver feedback.
Sessions are planned for and delivered by our fully qualified staff using ongoing assessment tools and the current school curriculum. As we adopt a flexible approach, we are able to ensure that we can target these areas in the current or future learning sessions.
Parent/Caregiver Workshops
Offering a range of workshops throughout the school year, we deliver content in both Literacy and Numeracy across a range of year levels.
Workshops are delivered by a qualified educator and give participants the opportunity to learn skills and strategies that they can use to teach their own children within their home environment.
Learning key concepts can enable parents/caregivers the opportunity to feel confident to assist their children with homework.
Workshops have limited numbers to enable participants to ask questions, to gain a better understanding of the subject content being delivered and are 45 minutes in duration.
